Consultation & Design This purchase includes reasonable consultation time to finalise your design. To ensure an efficient process and the best possible result: • Reference images are strongly recommended • These help clearly communicate your design preferences and reduce delays To keep projects progressing smoothly: • Design discussions should be completed within 48 hours of purchase • Excessive consultation time may incur additional design charges Silver Weight The price includes up to 6 grams of sterling silver. If the finished piece requires more than this: • Additional silver will be charged at the current market rate • Any additional cost will be confirmed and approved before proceeding Labour Three hours of labour are included in the purchase price. If additional work is required: • Labour is charged at £60 GBP per hour • A reduced rate of £45 GBP per hour applies if the stone has been purchased from Aussie Opals or Cornish Opals via Whatnot • All additional labour must be approved before work continues Stones & Setting Risk Customers may provide their own stone. Please note: • Opals and other natural gemstones are inherently delicate • By sending your stone to be set, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks Important Disclaimer: Whilst every care and professional standard is applied during the setting process, opals and natural gemstones may contain internal inclusions, fractures, or structural weaknesses that are not visible. Therefore: • All stones are submitted and set entirely at the owner’s risk • No responsibility is accepted for any damage, cracking, or breakage during the setting process • This includes any issues arising from natural inclusions or inherent weaknesses within the stone Production Time Typical production time is 3–10 business days.
