I am the wife and retired nurse of a Vietnam Vet who is in a Veterans Alzheimers home. Due to exposure of Agent Orange he developed Parkinson's disease along with Alzheimers. I drive 202 miles roundtrip daily to see the love of my life as Madison does not have a VA home. I don't move there as I have joy seeing my grandkids daily here in Madison. I always have given and supported veterans facilities but wanted to find something more fun than handing them just a check. A way that not only I could help veterans but a way to help others also.
