1lb pre-washed fluval, perlite mix! Fluval is a mineral-rich, porous volcanic soil designed for planted aquariums, promoting strong root growth for plants, although we have found it does just the same for our tropical plants! Mixed with perlite, it helps add oxygenation and promotes strong healthy roots and foliage! I went ahead and did the testing so you didn’t have to, pure fluval or perlite/fluval mix has shown a tremendously faster growth rate than your typical sphagnum moss, or potting soil! Shooting out 2/3 inch thick healthy roots within 1-2 weeks, no hormones or fertilizers added, just nature doing its thing! I tested a range of things from begonias, pothos, philodendrons, monsteras, tradescantia, lipsticks etc etc, they were ready for a new home within a week, if not two! Typically moss propagations, water, or soil takes 2 weeks before you even see root growth! Great for semi hydroponics or rooting/growing out plants!
