It’s ideal for removing: Heavy corrosion, rust, and water staining Magnesium and calcium chloride buildup Lime scale, tarnish, grease, oil Keep in mind, the Metal PreClean helps you get through the grime, but you should always protect the surface with a polish after. Metal PreClean Dos and Don’ts DO: Spray on Metal PreClean, let it work (it works fast), and rinse thoroughly with water. Follow up your surface clean with a polish or wax to prevent re-tarnishing. Use on metal surfaces before polishing for best results. DON’T: Use Flitz Metal PreClean on patina finishes (e.g., hand-hammered copper sinks). Apply Flitz PreClean to marble, granite, travertine, or terrazzo. Skip the rinse. Water neutralizes Flitz Metal PreClean, so it’s crucial to rinse.
