May be Colombian, looks like it’s from pre-70s. I’m unsure, but bought it at a vintage shop. Some fraying on the ends but gives it character. Love this piece. No stains. 38 inch without fringe. 50 with fringe. See pics showing it on my coffee table so you can get an idea
