Paper label on the neck of decanter reveals the whiskey that originally filled it: Calvert Extra Blended Whiskey, bottled by the Calvert Distilling Co. Calvert was a major subsidiary brand owned entirely by Seagram's during the mid-20th century. NUMBERS & EMBLEM ON BOTTOM: The stylized "T" with a horizontal line across the top is the maker's mark for the Thatcher Glass Manufacturing Company. "4321" (Above the Logo): This is the Design Number for this square, quilted diamond-patterned bottle mold. "D-126" (Below the Logo): The "D" stands for Distiller. D-126 was the unique federal distillery identification code issued to Seagram's. The decanter is in good condition with no chips or cracks and has original neck label.
