This is a Gorgeous Victorian Brown Transferware Plate With Beautiful Staining and Crazing. Made in the Staffordshire Region of England Circa 1880 (Late Victorian Era). This is an authentic 9 1/4” antique plate that has been stored in my great grandmothers estate for over 40 years. The central motif and surrounding rim are decorated with detailed transfer prints of Victorian lutes, flutes, harps, lyres, sheet music, and hornslayered with dense floral arrangements. Classic English ironstone or earthenware, noted for its distinctive glaze crazing which naturally develops over decades of aging.
