Beautiful antique English horse brass featuring Saint George slaying the dragon in a detailed openwork cast design. This solid brass harness medallion dates to the late Victorian to Edwardian era, circa 1880–1910, and was originally used as decorative harness tack for carriage or parade horses. This piece has exceptional character with rich aged patina, authentic wear, and a sculptural high-relief design that displays beautifully. The reverse shows traditional sand-cast texture consistent with older English harness brasses. Mounted on a wooden display stand for presentation.
