Designer Kenneth J. Lane was asked by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis to reproduce her real necklace by Van Cleef in the 1960's. Jackie O had him make the necklace and allowed him to add it to his collection. In his book "Faking It", Kenneth Lane also shows a photo of Linda Evans wearing one on Dynasty. his version has the glass ruby, emerald and clear rhinestones. It is signed, in Excellent vintage condition. See photos below of the necklace on the page in the Kenneth Lane book “Faking It” this necklace was originally produced in the 1960s but it was re-issued several times I am guessing that this version might be from the 1980s when Dynasty was popular.
