This is a beautiful mid-century vintage ceramic teapot produced by Shawnee Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio. Finished in a rich, glossy burgundy/maroon glaze, this collectible piece features the distinctive "Rosette" pattern. It highlights a unique sculpted flower petal rosette accents on the top of the handle and a matching floral rosette finial on the lid. he body displays a vertically ribbed, paneled texture that reflects classic Art Deco and early mid-century design elements. As is common for many pieces from this era manufactured by Shawnee, the bottom of the base is incised only with the "U.S.A." mark.
