Vintage Beau Geste Brooch Rare HTF Aurora Borealis Topaz Rhinestones Signed Jewelry I have been researching this jewelry maker and coming up empty handed. This brooch is signed Beau Geste. The rhinestones are all prong set and are a darker Aurora Borealis and a light topaz or tawny color. As you can see on the back of the brooch, it was most likely gold tone at one point but some has rubbed off perhaps and about half of it is now silver tone. Interestingly though, some of the prongs that hold the rhinestones in are gold tone and some are silver tone and there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. There is a possiblilty that the pin has been replaced but, if so, it was professionally done. I actually think that it might be original but am just not sure. It measures 2" x 1 /34" and diagonally, it is 2 3/8" across.
