Item shown on screen - Philodendron 'Snowdrift' is a spectacular hybrid aroid believed to be a cross between P. pinnatifidum and P. giganteum. It is highly sought after by collectors for its dramatic, deeply serrated foliage and stunning "minty" variegated color transitions. Light: Provide bright, indirect sunlight. A few feet from an east- or west-facing window is ideal. Avoid direct, harsh sunlight, which will instantly scorch and crisp the delicate white parts of the leaves. If it receives too little light, the variegation will fade, and new leaves will emerge mostly green. Watering: Water only when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil are dry. This hybrid is incredibly sensitive to overwatering; sitting in soggy soil will quickly trigger root rot. Drench it thoroughly, but ensure all excess water drains away completely.
