PARTIALLY FUNCTIONING Christmas Scooby doo vintage jack in the box. Box is still new in the original packaging and zip tied in with original zip ties. With that being said, I was able to slightly fold back a section of the cardboard and remove the original batteries that were corroded and clean the battery compartment the best I could with the limited access (please see photos) once completed I placed new batteries in to test the item. The box then made the recorded sounds when the button was pressed and/or when I moved my finger in front of the motion sensor. Scooby does NOT pop up! You can hear the gears moving, but there is no action. If someone is willing to remove him from his original packaging, this may be something than can be repaired as I stated that you can hear the gears moving.
