1863 Glass Framed Dated Letter Wisconsin Union Quartermaster in Louisiana writing to his younger brother. Content is school related and this soldier went on to be a school teacher. Almost as though his letter is fortelling his future. Easy to read because he printed which is highly unusual for a Civil War letter. This one is one page also so very easy to display beautifully. Photo of Soldier in the photos. His entire letter collection is housed in Tulane University and a college in Arkansas which can be read online. Somehow this one is still available! Imagine having this framed in your history class for your students to see.
