Hunter X Hunter tells the story of Gon Freecss, who aims to become a Hunter to find the father he thought was dead. He trains to pass the "Hunter Examinations" to join these elite Hunters in fantastic pursuits such as locating rare or unidentified animal species, treasure hunting, surveying unexplored enclaves, and even hunting down lawless individuals. Kurapika is a Blacklist Hunter, a member of the Zodiacs codenamed "Rat", and the the last survivor of the Kurta Clan. He is a Conjuration nen-user who weilds a chain in battle to great effect.
