This is a vintage framed Navajo silkscreen print by artist Beatien Yazz. Tewa Enterprises was a pioneering Native American-owned publishing company founded in 1951 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, by celebrated Navajo painter Harrison Begay and silkscreen printer Charles Barrows. Its mission was to hand-produce affordable, high-quality silkscreen prints of paintings by Navajo and Pueblo artists, making indigenous art accessible to a wide audience.
