Under 5,000 Type-2 blank back 1/2oz bars have ever been recorded and many have been melted since the early 80's when they were created. Another low mintage of under 5,000 is the 131375 Serial Number 5 gram Type-2 blank back. From all sources, this is the lowest number to be documented of this very specific variety. The other two 5 gram bars feature the JM logo Hallmark on the back and are rare in their own sense as they're growing increasingly difficult to find. Each 5 gram bar is still in their original packaging straight from Johnson Matthey and toning a beautiful purple/blue. These pieces collectively make up just under 1 full troy ounce of some of the finest silver in the world.
