A highly charming, complete three-piece miniature individual soup tureen or gravy/sauce server manufactured in Japan circa 1950s/1960s for the Royal Sealy company. Crafted from heavy semi-porcelain, the vessel features a beautiful melon-lobed, ribbed body and matching tiered dome lid, complete with an ornate tiered finial knob and a built-in ladle notch cutout. Intricately hand-decorated in a classic Imari-ironstone color scheme, displaying detailed cobalt blue chrysanthemums and rich rust-red/orange roses. Underside retains its original, highly sought-after blue and gold foil Royal Sealy Japan import label with the sea lion emblem.
