Product Details

This is a 1966 Beatles Yesterday and Today 2nd‑State Mono Paste‑Over Butcher Cover, Capitol T‑2553. The front cover is in excellent, clean condition, with Ringo’s black turtleneck clearly visible to the right of the trunk—one of the definitive signs of an authentic 2nd‑state. The back cover is also in nice shape. There is a long seam split along the top edge, while the side and bottom seams appear intact with only light wear. For the long seam split on top it can be repaired nicely several ways, one using a cover seam split strip. It does a great job if you desire. Please review all photos carefully and feel free to ask any questions so you can judge the condition for yourself. The record is very nice on both sides, VG+, showing only minor paper scuffs. The original inner sleeve has a small split of about one inch along the bottom. The album lies flat and would make an excellent display or framed piece.

About the Seller
Hey, I’m Billy B! I’ve got a bunch of hobbies that keep me busy — fishing, flying drones, collecting vinyl and jamming on guitar and drums are at the top of the list. I’m also a big fan of vintage football cards and love collecting autographs, lunchboxes, vinyl records, and music memorabilia, especially anything Beatles or Kiss. Maybe soon I will get the courage and start a show and sell some of the things I have accumulated over the years.
