This is a Vintage Mid-Century Scheurich Amano Ceramic Vase from West Germany. The manufacturer is Scheurich, a prominent German pottery company known for its mid-century designs. The model number 629-27 and is visible on the bottom. This was known as a tall, "torpedo-shaped" vase that stands 11 inches high. The Color of this vase features a distinctive "oxblood" red or "lava" red glaze, popular in the 1970s. The marks on bottom indicates it was produced in Germany, specifically during the West German pottery era of the 1960s and 1970s. The has been pre-loved but there is a small top piece that looks like it's ready to flake off. Please see the last pics. On the outside looking at it, it's hard to tell till you turn in and look on the inside. Still a FANTASTIC piece to own and enjoy!
