Product Details

Old stock El Sueco Agate Mined from the Sierra del Gallego region in Chihuahua. These stones—cousins to Laguna agates—are famous for tight, vibrant banding, deep parallax, and unique flow channels. Because mining deposits for this specific material are largely inactive, "old stock" pieces represent raw rough, polished halves, or custom cabochons sourced from earlier excavations. Often features wider, more muted bands than a typical Laguna agate, though specimens can occasionally exhibit incredibly fine, neon banding and deep, brilliant contrast. Flow Channels: Distinguishable by intricate flow channels that look like internal fractures but are actually natural channels extending toward the center of the nodule. Centers: Often feature hollow vugs filled with druzy, calcite, or yellow jasper inclusions. Info pulled from the internet As with any uncut stone, we never know what is inside till we cut them open. ⛏️⚒️⛏️⚒️⛏️⚒️⛏️⚒️⛏️⚒️⛏️⚒️⛏️⚒️⛏️⚒️⛏️⚒️
