Highly detailed English Springer Spaniel (or Setter) hunting dog retrieving a duck/bird. Created by Japanese artist M. Takai. Includes original UCGC Japan gold foil label on the base. Hand-painted glazed porcelain/ceramic. Mid-Century Modern (circa 1950s–1960s). Lifelike texture, glossy finish, and classic hunting scene design. Mounted on a steady oval base. Approximately 9–10 inches long and 5–6.5 inches tall. The figurine is an excellent vintage condition. There are two or three very small white spots that may be paint loss.
