Clean the skin — Wash the area with soap and water, then pat it completely dry to remove oils. Remove the film — Peel off the clear protective plastic sheet from the front of the tattoo. Position the tattoo — Place the image side face-down firmly onto your skin. Wet the backing — Press a soaking wet sponge or cloth against the back of the paper. Hold firmly — Keep the wet cloth in place for at least 30 seconds without moving the paper. Peel slowly — Gently lift one corner of the paper to see if the image has transferred; if not, press back down and wet it again. Air dry — Once the paper is removed, let the tattoo air dry for 2–3 minutes without touching it.
