This is a vintage Mexican iron and glass celestial sun face candle holder. Popularized during the southwest decor boom of the 1990s, it functions as a tea light or votive holder. A small metal cup or bracket is mounted directly behind the thick, textured glass disc. When you light a candle, the flame illuminates the translucent backdrop, casting a warm, glowing silhouette around the central metallic smiling sun face.
