Product Details

Rust and blue nazar eyes radiate outward like the sun. The nazar, or evil eye, is one of Anatolia's oldest protective symbols, found in the region as far back as 6000 BC. It catches envious or harmful gazes and keeps the wearer safe. Güneş means sun, and this is the warmest, most golden-hour piece in the range. Woven in Buldan, Denizli, a town in western Türkiye that has been weaving since around 800 BC and once supplied cloth to the Ottoman court. Made using Buldan's traditional weaving technique, which gives the cloth its distinctive soft, textured handle. Each robe is then printed entirely by hand using carved stone blocks, pressed one at a time, so no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Lightweight yet durable, breathable, and softer with every wash. 100% cotton, fringed edges, generous kaftan cut.
