This unique Limited ceramic coaster is a highly collectible piece of corporate memorabilia connecting Caribou Coffee with traditional Hungarian studio pottery workshops. The coaster features an earthy, organic palette using thick underglazes and slip-trailing or sgraffito techniques. The circular, colorful motifs nestled into the green and textured sections represent stylized coffee bean cherries. Also represented is the artist's rendition of a caribou, head, snout, and jagged antlers. Measures approximately 4" in diameter. Made in the late 1990s. On the front of the coaster is a shallow chip on the edge near a tan colored bean. One of the small round felt protectors is missing from the back.
