Alocasia ‘Melo’ Albo Variegated is a rare, highly textured aroid admired for its thick, sculptural foliage combined with striking white variegation. Its broad, heavily corrugated leaves emerge in deep blue-green tones with a leathery, almost stone-like surface, while irregular patches, sectors, or marbling of creamy white create a bold contrast across the rigid leaf structure. Growth is compact and upright, forming a slow but architectural clump that becomes more impressive as it matures. Provide bright, indirect light to support stable variegation and strong leaf development, along with a very airy, fast-draining aroid mix that prevents excess moisture around its thick roots.
