This is a vintage ceramic basketweave planter (often used as an Easter candy basket, catch-all trinket dish, or flower pot). It is meticulously crafted from slip-cast ceramic mold pottery to mimic a hand-woven wicker or splint basket texture, complete with a thick, stylized twisted rope handle. The piece is finished in a glossy, semi-translucent yellow ochre glaze that pools in the recessed grooves to accent the faux woven pattern. 9”x 8”x 9 1/2”
