Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage 1970s Navajo handmade sterling silver statement ring. This piece features a striking elongated oval cabochon of natural sage-green turquoise, displaying a smooth face with very subtle webbed matrix lines characteristic of classic Nevada mines. Design Details:Artistry: The face of the ring is adorned with a traditional hand-chased silver leaf applique, delicate twisted silver rope wrap, and an open scalloped "raindrop" border on the opposing side.Construction: Sturdy split-shank band construction with a flat, scalloped-edge backing. Hallmark: Clearly stamped "RY" on the reverse side, attributing the craftsmanship to documented Navajo silversmith Raymond C. Yazzie.Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The stone is secure in its setting with no cracks. The silver displays a gorgeous, natural aged patina that highlights the deep stamp work (has not been harshly machine-polished). Wt: 6 g
