Karate Champ for NES is Data East's 1986 port of their landmark arcade fighter — one of the earliest one-on-one fighting games ever made and a direct ancestor of every Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Tekken that followed. You face off against a series of increasingly skilled opponents in a best-of-three format, executing kicks, punches, sweeps, and throws — with an on-screen referee judging each technique for style and precision. Cartridge has been cleaned and tested and is fully working. Label shows normal shelf wear and is intact. Small circular price sticker on the lower front shell.
