Product Details

This is an outstanding example of an original Pierce manual-wind mechanical watch circa 1930s to 1950s. It features a Swiss 17 jewel movement marked Pierce Watch Co Inc. The code "PXA" indicates that it was a Swiss import after 1936. It is extremely clean and currently running well, but service history is unknown. As with all antique watches of this type, it would likely benefit from a full service. The square case is marked "10K R.G.P" between the bottom lugs. The caseback is unsigned on the outside, and signed "MASTER SUTTON BASE METAL STAINLESS" on the inside. It measures 27.3mm w/crown, and 33.3mm lug-to-lug. The beautifully designed expansion band is marked "GOLDEN KNIGHT SPEIDEL 47" and will fit up to a 8" wrist. There is a missing bottom cap on one link that does not affect wearability. The entire watch shows beautiful patina consistent with age but no outstanding flaws. Review pictures and listing thoroughly, and ask questions if need be. SOLD AS-IS NO GUARANTEES
