This is an outstanding example of an original Pierce manual-wind mechanical watch circa 1930s to 1940s. It features a Swiss 17 jewel movement marked Pierce Watch Co Inc. The code "PXA" indicates that it was a Swiss import after 1936. It is extremely clean and currently running well, but service history is unknown. As with all antique watches of this type, it would likely benefit from a full service. The square case is marked "10K R.G.P" between the bottom lugs. The caseback is unsigned on the outside, and signed "MASTER SUTTON BASE METAL STAINLESS" on the inside. It measures 27.3mm w/crown, and 33.3mm lug-to-lug. It is currently on a dark brown leather strap, but also includes an expansion band marked "GOLDEN KNIGHT SPEIDEL 47". There is a missing bottom cap on one link that does not affect wearability. Both bands fit a 7.25-7.5" wrist. The entire watch shows patina consistent with age. Review pictures and listing thoroughly, and ask questions if need be. SOLD AS-IS NO GUARANTEES
