Bound in half brown leather over marbled boards with gilt decorated spine and raised bands. Inside bears the bookplate of The Pacific-Union Club of San Francisco, one of the city's oldest and most distinguished private clubs, founded in 1889. Half leather binding shows age-appropriate wear. Marbled boards intact. Bookplate and donation stamp present inside.
