Vintage U.S. Navy officer's dress white combination cap manufactured by Bancroft Military Caps of Framingham, Massachusetts. This cap features the gold embroidered visor indicating the rank of Commander and includes the original officer insignia. The interior retains the original name tag for CDR Jack Green, MSC/USN. The cap shows normal age and service wear including light staining to the white cover and typical interior wear - and storage. Insignia and visor embroidery remain intact and the cap displays well. A solid example of a Cold War–era Navy officer uniform piece suitable for collectors, display, or reenactment.
