Product Details

This clock-shaped decanter was made by Avon in 1970-72 and is still partly filled with “Unforgettable” foaming bath oil. It’s milk glass with a beautiful gilded paper sticker on the front, a gold plastic cap, a stamped Avon logo on the base, and an intact but fully faded out sticker on the base. This one seems to have suffered a bit of wear given that the gold on its plastic cap is crackling and the stickers are faded and waterlogged, but Avon made such sturdy glass that it is still stickered and full of product! While the gilded clock face sticker on the front seems to have a little missing piece, it’s actually just a manufacturing defect given that others I’ve seen of this piece have the exact same little nick in the paper.
