Product Details

The Rough Ryder Apta reimagines the traditional slip joint with modern functionality and high-quality materials. This knife is built for those who demand more than just a tool; they want a reliable companion that seamlessly blends old-world charm with contemporary craftsmanship. The Apta features a 2.75-inch Wharncliffe blade made from VG-10 stainless steel, known for its exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. Finished with a satin polish, this blade delivers a clean, precise cut, making it an ideal choice for everything from detailed slicing to more rugged tasks. The copper handle brings a unique aesthetic that only gets better with time. Over the years, it will develop a distinctive patina, adding character to an already striking knife. The weight and feel of the copper handle give the Apta a solid, balanced presence in the hand, while the stainless steel liners ensure structural integrity and durability. The handle is secured with stainless steel Torx hardware, giving the knife a rugged, industrial look and providing easy maintenance for those who appreciate the ability to tinker with their tools. At 3.75 inches closed and weighing 5.2 ounces, the Apta is built for those who appreciate a bit of heft in their everyday carry. It’s substantial enough to handle tough jobs, yet compact enough to be carried comfortably. The slip joint mechanism offers a smooth, reliable action that harks back to classic folding knives, while the modern materials ensure longevity and performance in today’s demanding environments. A lanyard hole is built into the design, giving you the option to customize your carry setup or add a personal touch.

About the Seller
I have been I lifelong knife carrier but got hit by the maker bug five years ago. I received a build a knife kit as a present and went down the rabbit hole. I started with just finishing knifes by adding scales. Now I have a small mill, anvil and forge...so now I need to find a way to sell some of my creations and collectibles to purchase more tools.
