terracotta, 52x38mm, 16.2grams. An iron-age votive statue fragment from the Syro-Hittite culture. Animal head, looks like a 🐎 horse, 🦄 unicorn or even a 🦒 giraffe's head to me. Provenance to Mark Reid, huge collector in the antiquities marketplace. Similar to ushaptis, religious idols, contemporary art or even children's toys.
