The frame and kiss lock closure are made of molded celluloid or early Bakelite plastic with a marbled faux tortoise shell or butterscotch effect. The body is constructed from a durable red cotton canvas or duck cloth fabric, accented by a woven cream and black center stripe. The interior is lined in a dark navy or black fabric.
