Patinated cast spelter Pheasants with a darkened patina. Underneath the birds the feathers are a warm honey colored metal so I suspect they were originally clad in bronze and therefore very old - circa 1930s Characteristics - Non-magnetic These are likely andiron components, decorative firedogs, or furniture/architectural appliqués from a larger assembly. The white markings on one of the birds does come off with barkeepers friend.
