This piece was produced using the Dufex foil printing process by F.J. Warren Ltd. in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England. The artwork is layered over a metallic foil base, causing the light, water, and sky to shimmer and shift textures visually depending on the angle from which it is viewed. A classic mid-century wildlife scene depicting a drake (male) mallard duck landing on a quiet river or pond while a female mallard watches from the grassy bank. Small call out as seen in pictures. Slight scuff in the foil.
