The 1996 American Silver Eagle is a prized "key date" in the U.S. coin series. The 1996 Silver Eagle is the 11th issue in the series. With the lowest mintage of any bullion Silver Eagle, this is the key date for any collection. It is also a date that tends to come covered in milk spots, so MS70-graded coins are extremely elusive. This one is a beautiful example with no milk spots that I can see. The coin appears flawless to my eye without a loupe. Any marks in the photos appear to be on the holder. It is graded MS70 by ICG.
