The cookware is made of white ceramic (Pyroceram) and is designed specifically for stove top and oven use.It is explicitly marked "NOT FOR MICROWAVE USE".The model number is N-2 1/2-B, made in Corning, NY, USA. please see final photo for a scratch/indentation on the bottom. if not for the few burner marks around the rim of the bottom, you would not know this had ever been used.
