Product Details

This is one of the most interesting books I have had in awhile. The previous owner did underline some things in the forward but it doesn’t appear to be anywhere else. The previous owner also left behind the cutest pressed flowers through the book. The flowers did not damage any of the pages. I will leave them inside unless the buyer asks me to remove them. The product is a trade paperback book titled "Southern Honor: Ethics and Behavior in the Old South" by Bertram Wyatt-Brown. Published by Oxford University Press in 1983, this book delves into the historical period of the United States Civil War and the cultural norms of the South during that time. Illustrated and weighing 18 ounces, this 624-page book offers a detailed analysis of the values and practices that shaped the Old South, providing a valuable insight into the complex society of the region.
