This is a "transitional" electronic watch - it uses a battery to power a traditional balance wheel beating at a high-frequency 28,800 BPH, giving it the smooth sweep of a mechanical watch with the grab-and-go convenience of a battery. === Condition Report: Case: Classic 1970s "C-Case" design. The gold plating is in good vintage condition with honest wear consistent with age. No major lug dings or deep gouges. Dial & Hands: The dial is in excellent condition with a stunning sunburst finish and sharp applied indices. The iconic Spacetronic "lightning bolt" logo is crisp.
