Rare signed 1960 Christian Dior by Grosse couture collar necklace featuring dramatic layered gold tone chain strands gathered into an intricate woven centerpiece. An exceptional early Dior/Grosse collaboration piece with incredible runway presence and movement. Features multiple chain styles including serpentine and textured link chains that create a rich liquid gold effect when worn. Signed “1960 C. Dior” and “Grosse.” Beautiful vintage condition (only issue is someone scratched the back where the logo is to test for gold- see photos) with strong gold tone throughout and impressive couture scale. A striking collector piece from one of Dior’s earliest dated Grosse collaborations. Measures 14 1/2 to 16 1/2 inches with extender.
