Product Details

Numbered Limited Edition Number 07680 Digipack Stevie Wonder's Original Musiquarium I is a compilation album by R&B/soul musician Stevie Wonder that was released in 1982 by Motown Records. It collects eleven Top-40 hit singles and five album tracks, including four previously unreleased tracks, from 1972 to 1982. The album peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, at No. 1 on the Top R&B Albums chart in the U.S., and went to No. 8 in the UK. It has been certified gold by the RIAA. The four new songs were issued as singles to promote the album, with "That Girl" and "Do I Do" reaching the top 10 and top 20 of the US pop chart and number one and two on the R&B chart, respectively. First released in 1982, Original Musiquarium I compiles some of the most enduring and beloved songs of pop icon Stevie Wonder's adult career. From the deep funk of Superstition and Higher Ground to the pop romance of You Are the Sunshine of My Life and Isn't She Lovely, Musiquarium illustrates that at his peak, Wonder was an artistic chameleon of unparalleled musicianship. This compilation also shows Wonder's evolution into a socially conscious artist with songs such as Living for the City, with its mini-dramatization of police racial profiling, and the politician send-up You Haven't Done Nothing. This re-mastered version of Musiquarium, like Motown's other excellent Wonder reissues, includes the original artwork and liner notes. Though it can't touch the outstanding box set {|At the Close of the Century|} for thorough coverage of this genius's multi-decade career, this double album is the best beginner's kit for the casual Wonder fan. And bonus tracks such as Do I Do and Front Line also make it a novel addition to any good record collection.

About the Seller
Compact Disc, Record, and tape enthusiast as well as an expert seller and trader of vintage fountain pens. I also have a large collection of Magic Cards from the legends, 3rd edition revised era that I may be tempted to sell pretty soon on whatnot. Last, I have a good friend (whatnot ID: vintagewatson) who is connected with vacuum tubes and has over 75,000 of them. So, let's talk trading, selling, and buying on whatnot. I come with experience in the eBay days of the early 2000s selling exclusively fountain pens so I know this auction business from that side of things.
