Vintage 10kt Thai Princess Gemstone Ring, also known as Harem/Princess Ring. Sz. 7.5,1930's-1950's estimated age. This has a mix of semi-precious gemstones: white topaz; spinel; black star sapphire or black cateye; chrysoprase; tiger's eye. It has coiled accents on the lower sides of the ring. The ring is appx. 17mm down the finger and 22.5mm across the top of the finger. The band at the scrolls is appx.8mm and it tapers to appx. 2.6mm at the back of the finger. It tests as 10kt and is marked 14kt but it looks like someone stamped a 4 over the 0 as it does not test as 14kt. This does test as 10kt with acid and electronic testing with an appx. weight of 6.93 grams. Round stones and teardrop cut stones in bezels Very good condition with a great vintage loop and appeal.
