It is the final surviving residence of the legendary poet John Milton, author of Paradise Lost.Publisher Context: This image directly aligns with the top back side from the first photo, which bears the local imprint of F. W. Lane, Chalfont St. Giles. Local stationers frequently commissioned German lithographers to create these tinted pictorial souvenirs for tourists visiting historical landmarks.🛶 Bottom Card: The Old Weavers House, CanterburyThe Subject: This shows the famous timber-framed Old Weavers House overhanging the River Stour in Canterbury.
