Striking German Jugendstil watch chain dating to the early 20th century or earlier, featuring an ornate decorative centerpiece with faceted red glass accents, engraved silver-tone metalwork, scrolling details, and delicate braided swag chains. The chain retains its original large bolt ring clasp and swivel dog clip. Decorative elements are engraved on both sides (reversible). The dog clip is marked with a three-leaf clover trademark and DRG A1 (German National Registered Design), and the chain bears the German registration phrase "Gesetzlich Geschützt" ("Legally Protected"), indicating German manufacture. --- Good condition with age-related wear and patina.
