KP Pawn is a chain of pawn shops that began in 2012 with just one store in Ignacio, CO. KP Pawn- Durango, CO is the second of our three pawn shops in the 4-Corners area. It opened in May of 2017 when we realized we needed to expand to accomodate our customer base.
Our customers have truly shaped the pawn shop into a unique setting. Not only do we do basic loans and buys, but a lot of our employees specialize in different areas of expertise. Durango's in particular specializes in coins. This is due to our employees being an experienced ANA Certified Coin Grader.
We try to keep a large array of items in stock on our floor. We keep a regularly updated stock of the the pawn shop basics: jewelry, tools, gear and electronics...and also specialty items that are more for the collectors and those who just love the feeling of nostalgia: collectible game cards, comic books, antiques, Native American jewelry, and Navajo Rugs.
This store is truly one worth driving to visit-One of the things we’re trying to make this store is to just be where an adult can remember how to be a kid again
